I like dr Vickers a lot; quick professional and informative with good bedside manner. I've been to a lot of doctors and dealt with a lot of offices, and this is one of the bad ones. Never have they returned a phone call after I have left messages on messages. I call again and no one has record of me calling in the first place, even though I've been awaiting a call back. Simple admin issues that should take a few minutes takes 3 days with this place. I'm also a repeat accutane patient and they don't seem to know how to deal with the Ipledge program. I get different information from everyone I talk to there. Don't go through them for accutane.

Dr. Breen is the best, hands down. He is extremely knowledgeable and available. I love this office. It's such a warm and caring environment. (Midtown Medical Office)

After reading the reviews here I was really concerned about my appointment. I know you shouldn't trust everything you read on the internet, but the words I read here were branded on my brain as I traveled to my appointment.

Why did I book? This was the only dermatologist that could see me in less than 6 weeks and accepted my insurance, so I had to set aside my concerns and go forward.

The decision could have not gone any better. The place was easy to find and was accompanied with free parking. Well, as long as my appointment didn't go over 2 hours, the parking was free. So, keep that in mind.

Their check-in process was the best that I've ever experienced. No paper, no writing, all digital, the input forms were extremely well designed and super tablet friendly. Seriously! You are handed a tablet, type in all your information, and slide your credit/debit card right on the tablet to cover your co-pay and you can agree or disagree to use this payment method for costs the insurance doesn't cover. Even though I didn't speak much with the woman staffing the front desk, she was friendly. Their check-in process is the future and I hope other medical offices/hospitals adopt the same. The Dr. was able to pull up some of my medical history and we confirmed this history before starting the diagnosis. Fantastic!

Dr. Ahmed was training a new doctor, who's name I don't recall, but they were both very friendly. The diagnosis was simple enough and I was absolutely comfortable with the options that were presented to me for my medical care.

I left the office wondering why so many of the reviews here were negative and I have to confess, they did have an impact on me up until the time I met the doctors.

I do hope they are truthful.

I'll be booking a follow up visit here in a few weeks and look forward to sharing my experiences again.

Details of my experience at Texas Physicians, Women's Health:

This is the first time I have posted a review; I normally just take the thorns with the roses, as they come, but this was such a shocking and lingering experience...

To go with my new Obama required insurance, I now have a new doctor, Dr. Tsai.

Dr Tsai's bedside manner was abrupt and rushed; she spoke so fast I could hardly keep up between the technical terms and her detached delivery. Also, this is the first time in my life I was sore after a gynecological exam!

Dr Tsai also told me that I could arrive at 8am the following morning for my lab work. When I arrived I was informed that the lab person was in, but would not be clocking in until 9am. Also, the receptionist that morning chased me out of the hallway, as I attempted to go to the lab, as if she were shooing out a rat or a vagrant.

And now, weeks after my lab results were available, they have still not been posted on my online portal. Even after calling the office everyday for 5 days. In the end I asked to talk with a supervisor, she gave me my results over the phone and said that my doctor would follow up and post them online, but to date they have not been posted.

What has happened to health care?! Wow.

I will not return to this office.

Making an appointment is already a problem, but I got that accomplished. However, the weather turned cold. Seriously; cold. No snow. No rain, NO ICE. Just cold. So, at ten o'clock, PM, and the night before my appointment, they cancelled.
After waiting for MY *Seton System*, "referral specialist", to find me a doc and make me an appointment, I had to find SOMEONE on my own. Then they cancel my appointment because it hit 31-degrees OUTSIDE. Is this clinic held outside? Is there a reason for them to close due to cold, when it is hardly freezing?
I tried to make another appointment, today, hoping they would have a skeleton crew in, answering the phones. Nope. No such luck.

I honestly don't know what to do. Exactly one month ago, today, my family doc told me I needed to see an endochrinologist, "STAT". Is this stat? And I am about to chuck it all. So tired of docs, already, when I have only seen one for this issue.
It is too much trying to navigate this terrible system!
