Friendly people and great food! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff has that lovely southern charm. The southern dishes available were classic and delicious, my wife and I will be coming back here again.

I have been eating at S & S since I was 3 years old. My husband and I eat there regularly. I had S &S cater (6 years in a row) Christmas dinners for the 5th grade students and teachers at Belvedere Elementary School. This is an wonderful place to eat. Great food and great atmosphere!

I've been wanting to stop here for a while. I finally did and I really liked it. I had the veal and it was good but not great. I will be coming back to try something else from the menu.

S &S is basically a historic institution for serving good old southern cooking in Augusta as most natives here know. The food here can be great on most occassions. It is seasoned well however I have had a few instances where some items were just to salty for me but this is not all the time. So have to give S &S a good rating because most of the time you can count on getting good food and great service at a reasonable price.

Love the food here but the portion size needs to be better. Personally, I don't think you get enough food the price that I pay and I eat here on the regular. Otherwise, I have no complaints. Plus I love Connie. She never forgets a face and is always so warm and inviting when my family and I visit.
