This spot near the lake is best on hot summer afternoons, when the sun will fall behind the brick pavilion and create a shady spot to sit while enjoying the view. Be aware the dock itself often plays host to weddings, photo shoots, and other events. Even so, after a long walk in the park, this is one of our favorite places to pause.
