Dr. Rice is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is extremely professional and has the nicest and most friendly staff. I highly recommend him to all of my clientele as well as anyone who is in need of a good dentist in the Watkinsville/Athens area.

Such an amazing dentist office with an amazing staff. The receptionist is professional, extemely nice & knowledgeable. She is ALWAYS smiling and a pleasure to work with.
I also want to say that Dr. Rice and his entire staff is such a sweet group of people. I love coming to them, I know I will always leave with a smile on my face. I recommend them to anyone!!!

Just visited Dr Rice yesterday, and I am very angry with the way that the woman at the counter took care of my payment. When I went to the counter, the woman at the counter said "you have a $9.80 balance. Would you like to take care of that today?". Of course. I handed my credit card to her, but she actually swiped charged me the full fee of my yesterday's visit without letting me know the total or letting me know she was going to charge that amount. She only explained after I asked her about the charge. Then I know that the periodic oral evaluation, x-ray and periodontal maintenance cost $2xx. She charged me the total even though I do have insurance!!!! She explained that she will return money back to me if my insurance company pays them. However, X-ray is at least covered 80% from many of my previous visits there. She also didn't give me a specific day when she would know whether my insurance company pays them. She didn't trust me and was afraid that I wouldn't pay them if my insurance company doesn't pay them. She is totally unprofessional!!

I have had a wonderful experience at this office. I had a terrible fear of the dentist based on past experiences. This staff is so wonderful, patient and kind. Dr. Rice is calming and gentle. They always work to get me an appointment time that works and I love the email and text appointment reminders. I can't say enough good things about this whole office.
