Warm, cozy, and welcoming, with pretty darn decent beer. The air is redolent with the subtle sweetness of malt, and camaraderie resounds from every corner. Textbook example of a great brewpub.

Great food, great beer, great service. Baltic porter and oktoberfest were both excellent and true to style. Pizza was delicious. You need to stop here.

Druthers Saratoga: The server we had was very knowledgable regarding the menu and beers brewed on site. She was attentive and we never felt rushed although it was a Friday evening and was very busy. Friends arrived and they were easily seated with us. The food, beer, prices and courtyard make this an extremely valued venue. We look forward to visiting Druthers in Albany.

We ate at the bar because we weren't in a rush and our friends were already sitting there. The bartender was very busy but she checked in with us to see how if we needed anything. Hubby tried the beer sampler which was very reasonably priced. He had a burger and I had mac n cheese. The food was very good. They ran out of today's dessert but they substituted a lemon cake with raspberry frosting (complimentary) and that was delicious and tart.

This place was a complete surprise I found while trying to navigate the dead-end labyrinth of the warehouse district-- and reaffirmed why it can be such an enchanting part of Albany. Outside it looked like a bustling brewery, and inside boasts a well-lit restaurant with an open kitchen, and large window panes where you can watch the legion of beers get bottles.
Try the weirdest stuff on the menu, both the drinks and the foods. Their flavor combinations are adventurous but well worth it. Their menu is reasonable in size, so what they do make they're great at making, and will pair with their drinks.
