Went for meal with the whole family. Absolutely excellent food. Warm welcome from very helpful staff. Nice food. Obviously a popular venue with local people. Will definitely go there again.

We had Chana chat chicken Kashmir pashwari naan polite delivery driver food very hot thoroughly enjoyed we have eaten in restraint and take a way quality is equally great highly recommend value for money 😀

Terrible- poor service and food. My husband booked this restraunt for a leaving meal 4 weeks in advance for a large party, upon arrival the table wasn't set up and the staff were agitated wanting to know exact numbers. They asked us where we wanted to be seated and them made a fuss of moving the tables- in the area that we didn't want to be seated in. Everyone settle to the table and the order was taken for the staff to then demand we move to another area. The food was bland and and not cooked to a great standard and some items arrived at the end of the meal. We were then told that they wanted us to leave as soon as we finished eating so they could accommodate racegoers. The restraunt itself was not busy at the time and the way this was requested was again in an agitated and arrogant manor. We won't be returning!

I come to this restaurant in every couple of months, but tonight when I had takeaway food, it was a disappointment, because I asked the guy over the phone to make the garlic chili chicken hotter a bit and he asked if madras hot would be alright, and I said yes. After I collected it and started to put it on a plate at home, no green chilies were in the food. After tasting it wasn't hot at all! It still was a tasty dish, but not what I asked for.

Been to York with mates for shopping, decided to eat was hard to find Hallal food place, Village Spice came on google so rung them to reserve a table for four.
I had pleasant surprise to find out that their food tasted great, we really enjoyed our time there, very friendly and efficient service. Love to go back again.
