Limited food selection but rapidly served and good portion size. Nice atmosphere but low staffing created some issues as it became busier. Not as good range of specialist events or activities as with previous owners.

Amazing:) myself and my daughter just had a lovely Sunday dinner here,I had turkey which can be tricky to get right,but it was so moist! My daughter really wanted Sausages and mash which wasn't available today,however the chef kindly made it happen for her and even added yorkies on as they're her favourite . Above and Beyond as always 😊 The new mangeress is very friendly and the bar staff and customer service has greatly improved since our last visit...

The pub has just changed management again. We didn't realise this when popping in for food yesterday, but the meal was excellent and really well presented. Good veggie options and house ale too. I was amazed to hear that they'd only just taken over the place, they were doing a great job already!

Good beer. Garden is OK. But definitely don't go for the food - ours ranged from average (the Sunday roasts) to shockingly bad (my comprehensively murdered burger - see photo). And I wouldn't have posted this review if the manager had had a decent attitude but he managed to give me my money back in a miserable and impressively passive aggressive manner, complete with slowly counting out exactly £8.95 in change into my hand.
