Location is spot on just next to the museum and walking distance to all of York city centres bars restaurants and shops. The staff are really friendly and the rooms are really nicely decorated with excellent facilities especially the mini bar 😀👍 we stayed in the front and it was quiet during the night. We had prosecco on arrival to celebrate our honeymoon they made sure we had an excellent few nights. There is a public car park round the back around 10 pound a night it's basically a perfect boutique hotel. Will be staying again

The new rooms are amazing, everything you could need and a very well priced mini bar which is always a bonus. Myself and my husband had a fantastic stay for his birthday just over a month ago. We will definatly be back, looking forward to seeing the hotel finished, hope the rest of it is as well done as the rooms. Keep up the good work guys x x x

Stayed here overnight. The room was clean, bright and modern. Seemed recently refurbished. Bit of noise from the street but nothing to disturbing. Would definitely visit again.

Great location, hotel has just been refurbished with great style, bathroom was beautiful, bed was a little bit too hard for me but slept well.
Nice walk through museum gardens into the centre of York feeding squirrels on the way.
Stayed here for 2 nights would definitely return and recommend..

Delightful hotel situated opposite the gates to the museum gardens. We had the warmest welcome we've ever had at a hotel as three little dogs rushed to say hello! The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely hotel in a lovely location.
