This Starbucks used to be a very friendly place with great coffee and friendly staff. Unfortunately, with the arrival of Primark, the quality of both coffee and staff has become poor. On the weekends, the café appears quite dirty. The tables and seating is quite sticky and we are often left to clean it ourselves as the staff are run off their feet. As a large café, you would expect more than 2 high chairs.
During quite periods, this is a very nice place to do work and have a quick cup of coffee. The WIFI works and the service is prompt.

A relaxed atmosphere with outside seating. Free wifi and newspapers to read. Staff are very friendly, quick service, high standard of cleanliness. Toilet facilities. A range of foods from paninis to cake and biscuits. A variety of hot and cold drinks but no alcohol is served or allowed on the premises. Only guide dogs are allowed indoors, wheel chair access. Prices are reasonable.

The whole place is dirty. I would eat any of the open cakes on display.
I can't believe Starbucks has its name above the door!

The Monks Cross Starbucks has a good layout with plenty of space, friendly and helpful staff and the usual Starbucks array of beverages and food. The restrooms are clean and the tables were kept tidy when possible.

Always excellent service! Better than the 1 in the centre of York. Helpful staff, always make your drinks how u like it and the food is really gd for a light snack too! Deffinately worth a visit!!
