I understand that this pub is closing. What a shame. It has great potential. Enjoyed talking to the locals who are sad it's closing. Toilets were good. Staff understandably downbeat. Beer ran down so limited selection. No food being served. Shame.

Staffs are friendly they let our dog in so it was a bonus. Food was good-we were there on the a Thursday night

Very lovely establishment. The staff were friendly and the service for food was great. We didn't have to wait long for our food to come and the quality/quantity was excellent. We highly recommend and will return next time we visit Uphill. Thank you

Visited the Ship Inn with my wife and friends and thoroughly enjoyed a meal and drinks served by very courteous and helpful staff. I believe this pub will be even more improved once the beer garden is completed to the rear of the property.
