Went in there a few times all ways had a good night there but as son as the law changed with smoking ban in clubs pubs factories and seem like the end this pub had a chance to be a place to be seen in especially with the uni very close and the A453 now known as Remembrance way could of got passing traffic to the uni to the airport and the M1 should of made it better inside and and out ans cooked hot food ,now it up for sale another pub bites the dust ,but could off been so much better.UPDATE ...ANOTHER LOCAL PUB CLOSED DOWN AND DUE TO BE DEMOLISHED AND MADE WAY FOR NEW HOUSES/FLATS.NO WONDER FOLKS DON'T KNOW HOW TO SOCIALISE NOW A DAYS A PUB USED TO BE THE HEART OF GETTING TOGETHER AND MEET FRIENDS AND MAKING NEW FRIENDS ,and having a laugh now the heart of a area is due to be ,writern OUT the pages of a areas history ,,,BYE WINNING POST WAS NICE DRINKING WITH YOU :( Well the bulldozer is here and it is going to go very soon in fact they started demolition today 19/07/2017 and by looks off it it will be down before the end of the day,Well it seems as it as 1 more day left then it be gone forever asigned to the local history books been told it as been here since clifton first became a place to live ,were folks met in the local pubs to chat about everything from there week at work to having a laugh with friends and family .WELL I HAVE ADDED THE LAST PICTURES OF THE WINNING POST ALL THAT IS LEFT IS A PILE OF RUBBLE .
