Nice pub but wouldn't eat there again made a mistake by going Sunday night had a Sunday roast beef was like rubber stuffing was rock hard and the whole dinner wasn't that warm so never again.

The food is actually not too bad the atmosphere is quite friendly and welcoming and it's quite well attired but the wait to be served food after ordering is ridiculous. We were there for over 2 hours with two young children waiting for our main meal unsurprisingly by the time the food did arrived we were so fed up and the kids were so bored we didn't really enjoy it. If I am to be 100% honest it was the weekend and probably the busiest time of the weekend but you would have thought knowing this is a peak time they employ more staff.

Having booked a table for 7 some weeks ago I was disappointed. on arrival as it appeared no table was reserved for us
We were found a table which had to be pulled out from the wall to accommodate us.
The chairs looked tatty and were not comfortable and overall we were a bit squashed in. Although the food was OK service was very slow and we were not offered deserts or coffees. Eventually we managed to attract a waiters attention and
order coffee. it was too late at that point to order a sweet.
Overall not up to the standard that I had experienced on a previous visit.

Good food plenty parking. Busy yet pleasant staff halfway between lincoln and Birmingham so a good place for us to stop as family in both areas but would recommend it to anyone .A good standard of pub food. Nice outdoor seating areas too

Won a competition to have 2 main meals free. Before ordering I asked how that would work with the 3 course meal deal and was told we would only pay £6 for the other 2 courses. Great I said and ordered. We had two 3 course meal deals and 2 kids meal deals. Out Sunday dinners arrived with no potatoes. Pointed it out and some got brought separately.
We had all finished I presented the voucher as discussed and the bill came. She said the mains had been taken off so I took her word and paid. Minutes later I saw rather than all the dishes being combines to make a meal deal so it was £6 they were full price. She said oh yes sorry let me sort a refund.
As she's doing that I said the kids meals are not down as a meal deal either so are more.
Ultimately the food was pretty good apart from some of it missing and then even without our competition voucher the bill creation was completely wrong.
Not a great end to to the visit and I was still out of pocket but I couldn't be bothered to go back and point out another mistake.
