I always bring my out-of-town guests here to enjoy the local ales and great food. Fish and chips at a cave-side table is a perfect way to show off the local Nottingham culture. Thursday evening is live music night.... always worth stopping in to see what's on.

Loved this hidden gem, so glad we came across it.The food was all very nice and Loved the sticky toffee pudding! Atmosphere was good too. Will return:)

A great choice of ale that made the visit more enjoyable as they tend to get obscure beers in you will not find in other Nottingham pubs. Great staff and I love the dining cave even though I never ate there.

We are regular visitors to Hand and Heart. I was absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service this evening. I wanted to order two Sunday dinners In the bar at 7.15pm, spoke to a member of staff and I was told an hour wait and the meal had to be in the restaurant! This is not at all what we were use to . It's very strange how two members of the public were eating Sunday dinner In the bar when we arrived. We are used to a such and friendly welcoming by John? In previous visits. I can assure you now, on this experience we will not be returning and neither will our friends

I've visited your restaurant and bar on many occasions and thought it a perfect place to bring my sister and her family who are visiting from America. When I rang to make the booking for 12 people a little earlier today I was shocked to be told that the restaurant does not allow children under 14 on their premises, even for a meal. My nephew and niece are 10 and 12 and I thought it would be a good place to show them the little bit of Nottingham culture we have. Obviously I was wrong there, how draconian! Glad we didn't decide to just turn up, how embarrassed would I have been with UK rules!
