Looks like the majority of reviews are correct.
Staff are great but the kitchen is dreadfully slow nearly at a standstill.
Customers are being told the Chef had to leave for an energency appointment.
Probs nipped off to learn some time management skills.

Advertised Autumn Menu on their website, decided to visit as they finally have Vegan main and Vegan desert.
Upon arrival no sign of Autumn menu.
Told "that is the only menu" pointed at the summer menu. Ok. All three menus on the table were sticky and had food bits on them.
Asked for the allergen menu, it arrived quickly but absolutely covered in sticky what ever, so God knows what allergic reactions people could have just to the allergy menu!
After looking through and fining no suitable food we had a drink and left. All tables and high chairs also filthy. Terrible really. Most disappointed .

Great location but I can't say the same for the food, not the best quality and dirty menus.

Well so far we've waited for over an hour for our food, no sign of it yet. Bar staff are good , friendly and attentive but there is suuuuuuuuuch a long wait for food. Thought it may have been a one off but this is the third time it's happened. Has the potential to be excellent

Lovely and chilled out surroundings make this pub a tempting option to sit down for a meal with the family. Unfortunately they seem terribly organised and the food is completely lacklustre.
We waited almost exactly an hour from ordering to food arriving. We ate at a leisurely pace but my sons dessert wasn't served. We enquired twice and was assured it was coming. After waiting another 10 minutes we gave up and left.
It's such a shame as if the service and food was better I'd surely make an effort to visit whilst at the lake due to it's fantastic location and atmosphere. I really hope management can put something into gear and sort the place out.
