I was disappointed when Reg retired and Fish'n'Chick'n took over, fearing the quality of the food and size of the portions would suffer. I shouldn't have worried as neither have changed. The fish has been excellent on every occasion I've been. Possibly some of the best fish and chip shops that I've had, that hasn't been at the coast!

Superb. Most of the menu is cooked to order, although the wait is not long. My large cod and large chips was fresh out of the dryer and huge. Usually a queue on busy nights and you can see why. Go out of your way for this.

This used to be our 'go-to' fish and chip shop. Unfortunately the chips are now more like crunchy chip scraps. Clearly they are trying to eek things out by cutting them far too small and scrappy. Such a shame - otherwise it's a great quality chippy. But to call itself a 'chippy' - it needs to sort it's chips out, before we'll be going back. Cut ehm bigger!!

Good portion, good quality fish. Chips could be a little bit crispier, but still good enough. Constant quality as well which is a great thing. Taken phone orders, good to know they answer the calls. They made an error once with our order, but they handled professionally and corrected immediately. (we all humans...) Sometimes we have to wait 5-10 mins because of the queue, but I take it as a sign of good chipshop... Strongly recommended.
