One of the worst clubbing experiences I've had. My friends and I travelled from Oxford to go to a Halloween event at 42s which we had bought tickets for. The club has a rule that you can skip the queue if you have a ticket before 11:30 but after that time you would have to wait outside with or without a ticket. We were late due to us losing our friends and waiting for them so we were made to line up for 2 hours. We were close to getting in until we realised we were in the wrong queue - according to one of the bouncers - so we moved. Once we had moved the bouncer said it was only for people who are buying tickets (despite us already having one) and that we had to go to the back of the line and wait. Obviously irritated and annoyed, we spoke to them and asked why they were only letting people in who are buying tickets and not the people who already have one. They didn't have a reason and instead shouted at my friend and made her cry from the embarrassment and disrespect. It was awful. The night was disorganised, bouncers rude and unjust and the event lacked good costumer service. We won't be coming back and we don't recommend.

Great music and cheaper than average drink. However it is a night club, so you can expect the door staff to be pretty disrespectful to you on the way in.

Cheap drinks, great indie music, amazing staff, casual dress code makes it easier if it's a last minute "we're going out" decision. I'm no longer a student by I keep going cause I like the atmosphere.

Great for students and fans of indie music. Really cheap drinks so good for a night on a budget. Everyone is friendly and up for a good night, definitely give it a go.
