Good food, good prices and great deals. Only one down side that sometimes TV is bit to loud to have basic conversation with people in your party.

Lots of variety of beers to choose from. The steak I ordered was juicy and tasty. Seems to be busy most of the time.

Every time I've been to the Madox has been in the morning so I'm not sure about the evening, but it is always lovely service and the food and drink is splendid. There is a lot of space and the toilets are kept in good condition.

Always one of the better 'spoons. Although a new pub set beneath flats, it always offers a good atmosphere (sometimes lively), and a great range of cask ales. Usual JDW food range too. Handy for Whitworth Park and Gallery, and if you visiting nearby hospitals.
