What a dump. DON'T STAY HERE. Water pipes bang due to pressure and the reception staff DON'T care. The tiles are falling off the bathroom wall. Wifi doesn't work. Phones don't work. Cooking utensils are old and scratched. Beds are hard. Bedding is old and needs updating. And once again DON'T STAF HERE.

Stayed there during Wimbledon. Great location but the rooms are poor and dated. Damage was reported but despite assurances from the chain smoking receptionist person, it remained as was during our stay. Receptionist staff were friendly but the corridors reeked of cigarette smoke during our stay. The alarm went off on our first night just after midnight. We were all evacuated and allowed back in after 15 minutes. We asked for an explanation from the guy on reception which he refused to provide. I sent an email making complaint regarding several aspects of my stay and the complain was not even acknowledged. Not good enough. Westminster Council though are very interested.

The furnishings were poor quality, a standard sized double bed (not queen size) with very firm mattress. The bathroom was very cramped. The cooking facilities were minimal, one double cupboard with sink and double hotplate on top little space for draining or food storage or preparation. Maintenance of equipment was poor, the lever on the toaster did not work, the U pipe under the hand basin leaked wetting the floor and giving a dank smell until we put a saucepan under it Only one chair at a desk suitable for eating otherwise we sat on the vinyl couch which was too low to be comfortable to eat at the coffee table. The elevator had a mind of its own that caused me to walk up 4 flights of stairs.

Average hotel but great neighborhood. Closer to Bayswater tube station. Our rooms were small and bathroom was even smaller than expected.
