[Update: sad days but the Sun & Doves has now shut. Run out of the pub game by some decidedly unscrupulous owners it sounds.] Cracking pub: friendly service, great atmosphere, solid Sunday roasts and a top garden.

Nice chilled Sunday vibe with de ent mix of peeps.
Drinks a little exxy but hey, It's London. Had the burger which was appropriately juicy n tasty but, how do you have no eggs!
Seriously, no fried eggs to top out my burger! Also the side salad incorporated a pet hate. Raw onion! A few individual rings sure, but 3 or 4 slices is crazy - unless they're cooked. Just felt it was a little cheap to have a garnish/salad on side to add to your burger as you like it but have such an excess of an ingredient nobody is goinng to use. Is lettuce and tomato really THAT expensive?

This is a just a yuppie pub with no substance. I went there with my wife for Sunday lunch. No sooner had we got in the pub we were asked if we wanted drinks before we could look at the menu. We proceeded to order to soft drinks which cost £5. We then found that there was no Sunday roast as it is summer! We then decided to go somehwere else and were still being bombarded to buy more drinks!
The menu must have been out of date as it stipulated that Sunday roasts were available even though they weren't. The menu was one of the most expensive I have seen and it all looked rather drab.
I would avoid this pub. I think they have gone way beyond their station.

Arty corner pub with good free wifi, huge projector screen for Tues night films and sporting events. Nice garden. Food is quite expensive, but very good - particularly the Sunday roasts. Usual selection of beers and a decent wine list.
Single gents should note the large quantities of female student nurses (from the nearby Kings hospital) who turn up on the last Friday of the month.
