Rude staff. Ended up shelling out quite a bit more money than expected due to a misquote after paying for half the work. Tried to complain but they didn't care. Avoid this branch.

Despite the reviews below, I had a really great experience with this Carpetright! I bought flooring for three rooms in my flat and found that my main-point-of-contact, Aaron Smith, was relaxed, available to help, and very responsive to my emails. I've been working with him and the store since November 2016 and when I was unhappy with the carpet installation in the bedroom, Aaron had no problem sending out someone to fix it. Great service, and I will definitely be going there again if I have more flooring needs. Thanks Aaron and thanks Carpetright!

Tend to agree with most of these comments. They said they called to arrange the fittings, nothing on my phone. They also said they could only give a 3 hour range of times (when they initially agreed 11am). They then charged me another £60 to send the fitter back at 6pm (which ironically when you pay more is not a 3 hour range) even though it was their error in the first place. Very argumentative, quick to blame and cost shovelled onto the customer. Also, watch out for hidden costs when buying the carpet.
Fitter (contracted so self-employed) was very good but not part of Carpetright so not taken into account for the score.
