Did not use the hotel services, only came in for lunch with my family. The quality of the food is satisfactory, though the prices are too high for my liking.

Fairly nice bar. Nothing special but good for a drink if you're in the area.

Provided decent food for a pub. Drinks took some time but they also have pretty nice sofas.

Carlo and Frankie are two great hosts and the entire staff at Portobello House is incredibly friendly and alway making sure you are all right and well served (and with a smile... extra point +).
Small improvements could be done to the rooms but I love hotels that have a B&B style, the bistro and bar that becomes breakfast buffet in the morning.
Can't comment on the food as I did not eat there.
Good taste in furniture too.

I have never come across such a pleasant team at a London establishment... ever! The team there is so pleasant, so polite and so helpful I can do nothing but sing the hotel's praises. Lorenzo in particular deserves a special mention - our whole party commented on what a wonderful host he was. The rooms (we had a superior club room) was spacious, clean and sound proof (important when staying in London!). Can't do better for location either - very close walking distance to Portobello Market (10-15 mins), Ladbroke Road tube station is around the corner, all the while positioned in a quieter section of NHG - ideal!
