Serious east london pub music venue in Hackney Road.
The music venue is used by real serious record companies to blood, and gain exposure for up and coming bands.
I have seen in recent years Circa Waves, Yak, Milk Disco, Goat Girl etc etc etc......

Good pub with great range of beers, shame to see the Vegan options taken off the menu, but the venue has great sound for live music and beer list is great.

Awesome pub hidden away on a side alley. Food is great, staff are friendly and it's a wonderful place to linger over a beer.

Good venue on the whole. Which is frustrating because it could be amazing. It has flashes of brilliance: the food is great, hot, interesting and comes quickly. The interior upstairs is great and there's loads of seating and tables. There's a big selection of drinks. The live room downstairs works well, and has hosted some amazing acts. Care goes into curating the nights and the quality of the bands are fantastic on the whole. It's been recently refurbished and has smartened up while retaining the traditional features, and the live room has been moved around slightly to great improvement.
It's let down by prices at the bar and nonchalant staff, though, and the quality of the sound downstairs isn't always as top notch as a venue like this deserves.

Probably the best burger in London. I know that's a big call with Dirty Burger, Red's etc however this places pattys are next level. Great quality of drinks as well. Good mix of locals, people meeting friends and casual diners.
