A nice hotel with basic facilities, but very friendly staff. Only had breakfast, from a meal point of view, but very nice.

Very compact room but hotel has a great location. No air conditioning but a fan and at least the window opened wide. Comfortable bar but no draft beer and ropey wine. Excellent breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Free copy of China Daily!

The unusual facade of this former Nurses Home (1901) bequeathed by the Howard De Walden Estates all glazed 'sanitary' tiles evinced contemporary medical modernity.
Idiosyncratic and eccentric and worth a diversion if adrift in the environs.

I recently stayed here with a colleague for a training course -the hotel couldn't have been better placed for us - very central for our needs. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Rooms were more than adequate for what we required, bathroom a little small, but very clean and we had all we wanted. The food was exceptional during the day, we had food provided on the course - first class and plenty of choice. We will certainly think about using this hotel in the future for other matters be it for work or personal purposes. Thanks to all concerned.
