I have worked quite near here before, and it's always a good option for lunch. Everything is vegetarian, with only a couple of vegan options. The stir fry veg is one of the vegan choices and is always on the menu. I must say, it is delicious- packed with vegetables and tofu and a flavoursome sauce. I also love the vegetarian quiche, which changes each day. They include a cheesy topping and some cress on top too. the pastry is delicious also. The salad selection is always different, and I love it when there are salads filled with dill, my favourite herb, which they clearly love too.
Dessert is a crumble or a scrunch - a fruity, biscuity cream which is delicious and both always contain seasonal fruits. Water is free and available on each table, just pick up a glass.
They do great bread and scones, which I always get as they're so delicious and change each day. You can get a takeout upstairs, which doesn't usually have a queue.
It is tiny, and you often have to queue up the stairs and try and find a seat. I've never not found a seat, but if you're in a group it may be tricky.
The staff can be friendly, but not always! Also, the toilets are right next to the tables under the stairs, which isn't great if people queue up outside them (only 1 ladies toilet). Also, there's not been any soap in the ladies toilets on a couple of occasions and staff have been too busy to assist.
All in all, it is one of the yummiest places to eat in Covent Garden, is in a great location and the food is reliably good. I think it is expensive for what it is, and cash only (good luck finding a cashpoint nearby!)

My husband and I were doing some heavy duty shopping at the nearby Outlets and wanted a place to relax and have lunch. We drove down the road and saw the sign with Ben Franklin's face - it looked fun and judging by the many cars in the lot the food must be good; it was both and a lot more! We entered the popular restaurant and feared we wouldn't get a table - but we did! The restaurant is spacious and had more than one dining rooms. The server was friendly and asked us if we had any food issues or allergies. I informed him that I was lactose intolerant . The restaurant had milk alternatives at the ready! The menu has delicious comfort food. I had a beef sandwich that was extremely tasty. My husband's salad had the most variety of vegetables that I've ever seen in a salad and was very fresh.
The restaurant is bustling but not in an uncomfortable way- I could talk and hear everything - my conversation wasn't strained. The staff are upbeat, energetic and extremely competent in their jobs.
Make sure you park in the restaurant's designated lots. There are signs to direct you where to park. I'm so glad we took a chance at this Restaurant. This restaurant makes everyone feel comfortable: families with children, casually dressed tourists, people having power business lunches and couples looking to relax with amazing food on the table.

extremely busy .Sure can tell why. Excellent food and good service.Menu with something.For everyone.Meat ,seafood,vegetarian.Shredded squash dish very tasty. Really good deserts ,especially the bread pudding.

Really a great place to eat! It was very busy when we got there but the wait time was not very long and the food was well worth the short wait! Our waitress was Misty! Very friendly and a great help with our food choices! We will return!
