Nice local pub, very busy but nice atmosphere, especially in the upstairs dining room. Friendly waiter took our large table order at the table and fetched us everything we needed and didn’t add service charge which is refreshing for this area (I’m not tight we did tip)
I have been in loads of times it is often really busy especially at peak clapham times. But there is always room in the courtyard even if you have to stand.
Overall nice pub with good beer and friendly non robotic staff.

Had a 3pm reservation for roast. Arrived at 2:45, only to be told someone else is sat at our table. So we waited until about 3:20 to finally be seated. When we went to order roast they said it was basically all gone except 1 lamb. The table of 4 all wanted roast but we settled. Such a messy, uncoordinated, confusing service— one beef roast came, and half the other things didn’t come til much later. The waitress also kept trying to take our half drunk pints. No manager came to speak to us, however a nice bar guy did apologise and let us have a second plate of roast (weird cause they told us they only had one left....). The kicker was that there was one of the staff members on their break eating a full roast! Shameful, bad experience, won’t be back. (The food was good to be fair, but the service was utter maddness that it overshadowed all else).

An awesome place to spend your time. Busy nights and busy Sunday for roasts, get there early on Sunday to make sure you get a table

excellent beer selection most of the time. Food is good but portions not massive. generally easy to get a seat in the early evening.
