Cracking grub, varied and fun pub quiz very Monday, helpful staff, and an innovative fringe theatre upstairs. Oh, and the regulars are a hoot, too

We only had drinks, nice helpful staff, not a great range of beer but decent enough!
There is a garden in the back but that night was too cold for us to sit outside, we stretched all over some big couch instead!

Ordered the English Breakfast that gave me the craziest heartburn. It had random bits of what I think was meat in the beans and i asked the waiter what it was that was on them as it gave me heartburn, to which he shrugged his shoulders and said not a clue and walked off. The food is but average for the price you pay, the service is below average at best!!

Rarely ever write reviews, but this was a poor overall experience.
The Sunday roasts are lukewarm, very small in portion size (don't be fooled by the oversized Yorkshires!) and vastly overpriced for what you get. They also added an £11 'optional' service charge (already included in the bill) which was extortionate when you consider the actual service on the day was really substandard.
Avoid if at all possible, as you will easily find far cheaper and better places to eat around the local area.

A great local spot near Battersea park. The burgers are great and the staff are very polite. The theatre upstairs is usually showing something and the beer garden out back is nice and catches the sun.
