Good Chinese food and tastes better at the restaurant. However, is a good place to take away from too as the interior although nice not really comfortable.

I found the food at Good Earth mediocre at best maybe 5/10. Both my husband and I did live in Hong Kong and know cantonese food well. The duck is not by far great, Shikumen, Pearl Liang, Pheonix Palace all average but better than Good Earth, Yauatcha Soho and Min Jiang does duck and Chinese food much better. Not sure who is rating Good Earth but obviously not regular foodies of good and well done Cantonese food.
We ordered the steamed seabass which no one really enjoyed and half was left, dry beans with shrimp paste I liked but I'm sure it had MSG in this dish, prawn toast horrible at this restaurant, half duck not fresh duck at all however crispy duck is usually not fresh (only peking is) unless you go to better restaurants like Yauchua and Min Jiang, deep fried squid very salty, kung po chicken horrible. Most of the chicken dishes were disgusting given the food is extremely deep fried with batter in advance so more batter than chicken and the sauce was a really bad taste.....would not go back or recommend anyone to go back for good food in general

What a wonderful surprise! We walked pass it and decided to go in even though it looked almost comically "Chinese." We were surprised by the tasty and authentic Cantonese style Chinese food. Their red bean pancake was also very good for desserts.

Very expensive. The portions are small. The bad thing is they charge for still water. They do not even ask or tell that it is chargable. They charged GBP 5 per bottle!

This is a very nice Chinese restaurant in the heart of London. Because it is in London the prices are quite high but the food that is produced is exquisite. There are, I believe, 3 in London. I would recommend this if you are wanting to go out for a nice meal with your family or friends.
