The dinning experience here was so good that at one stage I thought I was in a restaurant in Paris - only the excellent quality of the waiting staff made me realise I was in London, Baby! Terrific evening.

Nice enough food, quite good service - but plenty of places much better in London.
The glass of champagne arrived warm and flat - but was replaced quickly. If you charge £25 per dish, don't then also add a cover charge - that's just stupid. The staff are nice, especially the old school maître d', but mostly there is only a thin verneer over the basic contempt for the customer. Food is quite nice but nothing special. Atmosphere ditto.
