As a musician it's a great venue to perform in. Friendly and very capable tech crew.

It's Hootanany innit! Legendary! So many things I could say wrong about it but I'll always be crawling back.

The venue looks nice and with good lightning for photography and nice sound.
But as professional I have never been treated as bad as it happen yesterday when I tried to keep my gear on the green room.
Couldn't arrive as early as the artists and been the photographer of one of the bands acting should have had the right for a wristband.
Didn't had the wristband and wasn't aloud to leave my work stuff at the green room even with the presence of other artists with their wristbands. Bouncer really rude and aggressive.
Maybe the venue should prepare their staff for challenge 25 and drunk and drug awareness, I saw a few costumers that wouldn't have been served in any other place but where annoying other costumers and security did nothing against it. But make a big deal because I needed to leave some heavy gear on a safe place...
If security is to prevent any problem and make sure everyone has a good time, I think in this venue they don't really know how to be aware of a few things that any other venue would do without problems.
As a professional really disappointed with what happened. Makes me not want to come back to work again and neither promote it.
