This pub has SO much potential that big pubcos with loads of capital reliably fail to get right. Youngs have had this pub for over a decade... It's serial disaster non recovery pub they spend hundreds of thousands on this prime site that should be ticking over at £25K a week without blinking
Came here when everywhere else in Camberwell was heaving, on a wet Wednesday night... The Grove? Maybe ten people.
The guy on the bar knows what's needed. Gets some excellent ales on. You need a least 6 pumps and fill them with local brewers.
You'll be packed inside 6 months

Nice interior, I had real ale but didn't like it as it didn't really have any taste. Would order larger in future were i to pop in. Staff were polite, cheerful and professional. Tables were clean.
