Had a Sunday lunch here back in May for my birthday. Food seemed ok but the beef I had was very tough along the lamb both my parents had. Personally felt it was very expensive for what we got and wouldn’t recommend for a special occasion meal. The worst part was within 12 hours of eating the meal I was violently sick along with my boyfriend feeling unwell so purely on that basis I would never come back here again and next time we want a Sunday lunch I think a Toby Carvery would be better!

My Partner & I had our wedding reception meal at the Monro back in May this year. The room upstairs was perfect for our intimate wedding. Alex and the team were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. The food was fantastic. We opted for the hot and cold buffet on the celebrations menu which was great value. A big thumbs up from all the family! Thanks again. We had a brilliant day!

Excellent, friendly, helpful staff along with quality, tasty food. That and a warm pleasant environment, what more could you want? We'll be back!

Been here a couple of times now, always spot on. Great food, the salmon starter was fresh and tasty and the roast that followed was beautiful. Succulent lamb, crispy roasties, homemade yorkies and the veg was perfectly cooked, no mush! At this point I was pretty much stuffed but I just about made room for pudding! The chocolate tart with ice cream was the perfect way to finish up and shortly after I slipped into a food coma for the rest of the day. Shout out to the staff as well, friendly and attentive.
