Arguably the best pub in Glasgow for the best selection of real ales. Always an amazing choice of thirst quenching beverages and the stunning interior makes it all the better. Go once and I guarantee you will be returning again and again.

Great atmospheric pub where you are not subjected to loud music and can hold a conversation. Food OK. Let down by indifferent staff and poor bar service.

Great food and nice atmosphere. Being able to use the app to order from your table instead of waiting at the overcrowded bar is a definite advantage. We will be back.

It's been a long time since my last, terrible visit to The Counting House and the only reason I went back is because my friend was only in the city for a while and wanted to grab a quick drink.
While it was nowhere near as bad a visit as last time, I had the absolute displeasure of seeing an interaction between two customers and the staff member that had acted completely inappropriately towards me.
She was carrying a lot of glasses and clearly wasn't paying attention, only to bump into a young couple, standing at the bar, having a laugh. The look she proceeded to give them was as if they'd murdered her child in front of her, then she mumbles some swear words as she stomps her way back to the kitchen area. Honestly, I'm surprised I'm even surprised. This woman should not be working in an establishment that involves dealing with people, she is atrocious.
I will not be going back here and I immediately regretted doing it the last time.
Train your staff better and let people enjoy their experience.

It's spoons, so you know what you get. Always have value for money food, I recommend anything with the Tennessee sauce and the curries are decent too. This branch has a good selection beers particularly in September when they normally get more variety in.
