The food and service was amazing but was way to expensive... even got charged for glasses of water on the bill!!!

The name of the restaurant says it all!!
We stayed at the Balmoral Hotel so it was a no-brainer to eat at their top Michelin restaurant. Service was impeccable and the restaurant staff was top-of-the-line with service, attention, and suggestions. The food was as expected - excellent!

Number One really earns its name
From the moment you walk in the door, you are made to feel like a guest of honour; the staff have truly mastered the art of customer service.
We went for the tasting menu. The smoked salmon, which was quite literally served under a cloud of smoke, was the stand out dish on account of both presentation and flavour.
The sommelier very successfully mastered the balance between engaging us and over-informing (as I have experienced in the past). The wine served with each dish, along with a little education on it, added a great deal to the experience.

Michelin restaurant. Service was good but not perfect. Examples: napkin not refolded when I left the table to go to the loo and so on.
