We had been for a lovely meal at a local restaurant by the shore and as we walked back for our bus, decided to call in this bar for a drink.
I ordered a peroni and my wife a tea and I commented that we must be a nuisance as making tea must be a bit of a pain compared to pulling a pint. The girl serving looked blankly at us without response. At this time the Peroni barrel ran out. She said nothing, walked off and told another girl to charge for a petoni and tea.
She also did not speak a word, rang the money through the till and turned round and said the amount I owed her without saying please or thank you. I said "please"!
She said nothing and gave me the change. I wish I had checked it, as on looking later, there was at least ten "two pence" pieces which she obviously gave me in spite.

We went for a private function recently and were very disappointed with the venue. The music was barely audible, food terrible, staff unhelpful and you could smell the toilets from a mile away.
