This was the third time I was staying at 10 Hill Place. The service is second to none. Staff are very polite and respectful. Rooms are excellent having been refurbished in the past few years. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are always spotlessly clean. Breakfast is varied and staff cater for every taste and dietary requirements. Location is great - walking distance from all of Edwin urges main attractions. Very limited hotel parking was available until last year but they have now struck a deal for subsidised parking with NCP that is within walking distance. Highly recommended...

Staff very friendly and helpful with what was within their control. Hotel had some issues with non existant blackout curtains and hard small beds but otherwise was ok. Hotel was full the weekend we were there so IF we had been able to move rooms, that might have fixed our problems.

Very comfortable hotel. I got a complimentary upgrade to a skyline suite which was a real treat. Lots of nice little touches you don't find in other hotels, like the coffee and cake stations on each floor, and the complimentary items you can choose from. Really nice breakfast too!

Very nice hotel, spacious and clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Good and tasty breakfast. Good location, about fifteen minutes walk from Edinburgh Waverly station. About twenty minutes walk from Edinburgh Castle. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Nice modern hotel but has some flaws. The decor is nice and they have air conditioning. They do have a nice small bar and restaurant in their lobby. They do not have any drink or vending machines nor do they have any ice machines. Overall nice place in a decent location.
