One of my favourite shops in Edinburgh. Every time I visit they have a completely different selection of tasteful designery gifts. I know every time I visit I'll see something I love, and something I know my girlfriend will love.

A shop that I have trouble entering and leaving empty handed. A fabulous shop that offers the best in cool, contemporary interiors and fashion.
A fresh boutique for the city. Even comes with a tiny dog called Bertie! Amazing.

If I could do minimalist and keep my house tidy.. this shop is what I'd want my living room to look like.. airy, lofty, filled with funky prints, quirky coffee table books and gorgeous ceramic bowls, plates and mugs..
Prices are actually quite reasonable for the 'designer' aspect of things.
Good place to look for gifts for those who have everything they need..

Every now and then, I come across a shop that literally has me jumping for joy that it opened up in Edinburgh... Life Story is one of those. It's gorgeous, so much so that it feels like you've stepped into a boutique in Tokyo rather than Broughton Street. It’s full of curated pieces, such as neon pink edged blankets, leather bags to lust after and too-nice-to-write-in notebooks, as well as owner Fee's own designs. (Be sure to look out for their tiny Daschund puppy too, possibly the cutest thing ever.)
