Bar staff were fantastic and very helpful (even when we had a long list of drinks and food to order) and the food was really good. Great atmosphere and very good for large groups.

Ok so we have just had a really bad experience in here. We were asked to pay for our drinks up front - never had that happen before! Then there was a problem pouring our drinks and when we said 'forget it - we'll go somewhere else' and asked for our money back she said we hadn't paid!

Great budget hotel with a difference. Better than average facilities, with clean comfortable and warm accommodation. Good food on hand at fantastic prices. If you like Wetherspoons what's not to like!

Very good British pub food at amazing prices. Got a dinner for 3 with a half pint of cider/beer each for less than £20. Service was quick and efficient.

Great place to stay rooms are very comfortable and quiet, all staff very friendly and are very approachable. housekeeping good .prices are excellent. short walk too the zoo . Bus stop nearby to city
Only one thing worth noting is there is no lift, but once you have got your cases up to room it's fine. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay
