Rude staff!!
Went to collect my sons bike in the evening.
Had the pleasure of dealing with the assistant manager.
I walked upstairs and towards the till/desk area. I received a very unfriendly look from a gentleman stacking a shelf/sorting stock.
I stood at the till/desk smiling over, gathering this unfriendly fellow would eventually come to the till.
After receiving multiple dirty looks from the gentleman, and no attempt to come to my assistance. I gave him the old fashioned " you allwwight "
Looking up with a face of thunder he came over. He was not a happy bunny.
When he came closer I became aware he was actually the assistant manager!
You could not imagine the attitude I received from this man, complete tool.
He very much looked down at me and my friend which we did not appreciate. How did this man ever make it to an assistant I do not know.
Its a shame really because I dealt with a friendly young lad who was most helpful when I purchases the bike on my first visit.
I will be going to another branch in future.

Very busy at times not alot of staff on the floor but hen you get there very helpful and quick to serve and help

Halfords seem to be employing rude people all over. No one was helpful enough and seemed as if they did not care about my presence and my enquiry.

Tried to contact the Bike department a number of times, when I eventually got through the next available mechanic appointment was in 8 days. We have a plan to cover labour costs but my son can't wait this long for his bike to be repaired. Popped into different cycle shop they fixed the problem on the spot.

Needed to buy a childrens bike and tried 3 of the independents in Colchester but they didnt have what i was looking for. Was dreading calling Halfords as they are usually so busy but was dealt with really quickly and made the reservation there and then. Collection process was as equally quick so they've clearly improved! Good service
