Alternative place with good music (not every time but very depend on your taste) and loads of people to meet and have interesting chat.

Awesome bar. Tom and the rest of the guys that run it are legends. I'm in a local writing group and they're incredibly supportive and let us use the venue for our short story reading event, Talking Tales. These guys genuinely support the local community and it's a great space for drinks, bands and all sorts. Open late in the week too, which can be handy if you fancy a late drink mid-week.

Great for the local music scene, particularly on a Wednesday and Thursday evening at the open mic night and jam night respectively.
