Dropped in for a weekday lunch on Monday. Had a really tasty burger and a nice pint of decent ale (not your new age, ice cold micro brewery sherbert !). NIce boozer and friendly bar staff. Lush !

Really enjoyed the tasting "game" menu this evening food well presented really tasty with some elaborate twists, I enjoyed all 6 courses excellent value. Staff very attentive we all felt welcome and will definitely return

Had a lovely family Sunday lunch. Food really good. Great selection of veg. Nice to have an extra jug of gravy with meal. Apple and pear crumble fab. Staff very welcoming. Definitely be going again.

Fantastic pub with gastronomy food, delicious mussels and a perfectly cooked and tender flat iron steak. Worth a deviation in your route to try. Very friendly and helpful staff
