Went with my son on a morning walk when staying nearby. Really diverse walk with plenty to see. Great view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge from below which I'm sure would look great at night.

Great outdoor space for walks, dog walks and to clear the cobwebs. Beautiful in autumn 🍂

Very peaceful in places, parking can be difficult. Nice walks around the woods and down to the gorge floor.

Lovely woods so close to the city. Lots of walking and mountain bike trails. Easy access. Can easily combine with a walk over the suspension bridge.

Have visited Leigh Woods on foot, via Bristol, and also have gone to several National Trust events including a dawn chorus walk which was great. I've sat in amongst rolling stretches of bluebells in the spring and not been disturbed by a soul. Absolutely loved the exhibition with the boats in 2015. Great for children, for cycling and for escaping the city.
