Really beautiful view down the gorge to the suspension bridge. Great place to get away from the noise of the city and see some nature.

Right next to Durham downs this loop takes you past a beautiful view of the Clifton suspension bridge. Toilets are next to this by the ice cream van that is there most of the time. Watch out for your car though don't leave belongings on show.

The views from here are stunning over the Avon Gorge. To the left you have the Clifton Suspension Bridge. To the right views over to Shirehampton and part of Avonmouth. Lastly across the river you can see thousands of tress over by Ashton Court/ Leigh Woods. Views of the balloons rising from Ashton Court and the Balloon Fiesta held every year mid August. And some truely stunningly beautiful sunsets. Plenty of space to be had for your day on the Downs

A great place to explore nature. Not just the walk along the wall, but valleys and woods to explore. Look out for the valley of goats! Plus you can almost always get an ice cream here!
