Not a bad pub. Lots of tables and not too expensive for Brighton. The main let-down is the quite unbelievably bad bar service. Went on Nov 4th 2017 and it was like the staff were deliberately trying to create a queue. There were several people behind the bar faffing and idling and avoiding eye contact. Even the vaguest suggestion of urgency from any one of the too-cool-to-do-my-job hipsters would have made the whole experience much more palatable but I left feeling just a little bit cross.

Excellent pub, really good range of beers and a really good food menu. Loads of things going on here too. Only negative would be not a great outside space to drink.

Spacious pub with great design, superb atmosphere and a top-notch crew. It can get very loud, though, and when it does, your chances of hearing the person sitting next to you go down to zero.

Large unpretentious brew house with cool events and food specials like bottomless brunch and bottomless Sunday roast.

Floor and tables do have a tendency to get sticky and because of the size of the place it attracts stags and hens.

Great for big groups and watching the World Cup. It's a bit pricy and it can get real noisy when it's full

Always fun and nice staff. Good selection of beers and the price is totally justified for the size and location of venue. Good for groups meeting up on a weekend.
