Some tasty food - the sauce on the squid was gorgeous - but lacked attention to detail. Two of said squid still had the spiny bits inside, which I had to spit out as elegantly as possible. My seabass was well cooked, but my tastebuds felt slightly under attack from the over-enthusiastic sprinkling of capers. All of the dishes could have benefited from better presentation - the chorizo, though delicious, was just chorizo on a plate. Likewise the squid.

A hair on one of our party's steak drew embarrassment from the server and an offer of a fresh dish, but no real apology and no reduction in the bill.

The menu was impressive, the staff attentive and the ambience fine. The restaurant has potential - but I don't think I'd go again.
