Been here a couple of times before and it is a nice place. Although decided to come here after work tonight with a mate (got there about 8.30pm) and it wasn't open! Very disappointed and it ruined the whole evening.

I dont know what the other review is about but that pub has loads of sports going on. A typical local pub. I go there on match days and its a great atmosphere. Its a shame people dont put the good points about this pub.

I thought pubs like this disappeared in the 70s. You would think with the new stadium opening up the road and the Hikers Rest of being the only pub within walking distance that they might make an effort, but nothing's changed except for the fact that they've split the pub in two for home and away fans.
