Had a lovely meal here last week. My friend had the mixed grill and I instantly wished I'd got that as it looked magnificent. It was huge. I had the burger, which was really nice. But next time I'm going to starve myself all day and have a bash at that mixed grill. In addition to the food being bang on, the staff are really nice people and the setting is amazing, with far reaching views over the lake. On a sunny day, sitting out is a must. Oh. And dogs are welcome, which I think is a great thing.

Fish and chips were really good. Fish Pie was really nice, only disappointment was the Fresh Peas accompanying the Fish Pie. Did make them aware that we thought what they put with them was wrong. Just fresh garden peas would be better.

I love this restaurant which is located in a rather unassuming place and could quite easy be missed . The ambience is warm and inviting and the staff are wonderful, courteous and smartly dressed; the service is great; good menu choices and really decent food at affordable prices.
We cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Go and give this superb restaurant a try.“

Beautiful surroundings all year round. The food is fantastic and really good value for money.
The staff are friendly and efficient.
If you choose to sit indoors the decor is clean and pleasant and the pianist plays relaxing music as you enjoy the meal.
The outside seating offers amazing views of the lakes and countryside
