Ordinary sort of a place. Friendly and helpful staff members working behind the bar. Spotted a mouse running across the floor of the bar at one stage though! :(

Decent breakfast, a little quiet on Sunday afternoon and prices were average £3.80 per pint. Also had some real ales and specials on th board

It's a pub with character (and some oddball characters in it), and there are not many of those about now. It's a theater pub with a shabby (and somewhat dirty) Victorian decor. The beer we had was nice but we didn't eat there. Duke box too loud for me - why can't you have conversations in pubs any more!

Was one a nice pub but when new owners took over place has gone downhill staff always miserable. Shame really I knew a lot of people that drank there but now take there business somewhere else.😟
