Best atmosphere, best drinks, not over priced, staff as charming af. Owner is an absolute gentleman. Love the place. 60 mile drive but worth it. Couldn't rate it higher.

First and foremost, approaching Bourne & Co. is a thoroughly underwhelming experience. Located on Suffolk Street it definitely suffers from the horrible 60s architecture. However, what they have done inside is really embrace the New York prohibition era styling they've modelled themselves on so the building's facade is quickly forgotten. It's a low lit dark bar but had a great atmosphere.
Drinks were very slow to come out. We were there as part of the Birmingham Cocktail Weekend but we had our longest wait for the drink to be made here. The barman who served though saw where we were sat and ensured when our drinks were ready the server would bring it over which was appreciated.
The quality of the drink was very high and it's clear that the standards are high here. Will definitely look to visit again and try some of their menu

Really helpful staff. They have quite an extensive menu, there's a few classic drinks on there as well as some more exciting ones. They don't have martinis on the menu, however every time I've been I've asked for a dirty one and gotten it without any trouble. Price wide you'll pay here what you'll pay at any cocktail bar. Some of the seating areas are a little dark, but the style of the place is a speak easy so that's to be expected.
