The hotel is quite warm and very close to the train station. However it is in major need of some modernisation. Carpets are old and worn, and generally old fashioned looking. It is like a maze walking to our room, and room is quite small. However clean and will do the job, only passing through.

Place is a bit old and I didn't see any elevator to the 1st floor. But the rooms are tidy and neat. I Didn't have breakfast but it's available at 10£.. English breakfast. Okay to stay if you you just plan to crash at night or on business trip and in rush

Yeah it was dated but pretty clean and a lovely comfy bed. Took half hour to get to NEC but weekend was quieter on the roads so 20 mins. All the staff were very helpful. My room was right at the top up 2 flights of stairs and at the front. Try to request a room at the back or take ear plugs...the road outside is very noisy. I ate in the room one night and the chicken tikka massala from the hotel was really quite good. For a budget hotel I thought it was very pleasant.

Good location, price reasonable for location. Plenty of off street parking. Rooms are a little dated, plus it was very hot in the rooms. Water pressure in the shower was very bad. Would recommend if attending events at NEC as it's as close as you will get for any sort of reasonable price.

We stayed here as an overnight half way to London, the website looked lovely the pics looked amazing for every thing.. upon arrival just entering reception we could tell it was nothing like the pics on the web site... we went upstairs to our room as we went up it looked really nice until we walked and walked and walked yo find our room.. the further away we got from that first hallway we thought oh are we in the room they forgot about... by the room standard we was... it was unclean.. I went back to reception to get them to change the bedding and clean the bathroom. Give us a new kettle.. it looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the last people or maybe even the people before that.. wouldn't recommend it to stay. AT ALL
