My wife and I enjoyed a 3 night break for my 70th birthday. The hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff from housekeeping to the .restaurant were all very pleasant. Food and restaurant staff excellent. If there was one minor thing (and it was minor), we stayed in Room 104 and we thought the net curtains were a bit shabby. But on the whole the stay was perfect and we would have no hesitation in coming back, and would certainly recommend it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel is close to major attractions and restaurants. Our room was spacious with room for a desk and we really appreciated the espresso machine. Bed was very comfy.The hotel faces a busy square but the windows seemed to block out most of the traffic noise and at night was relatively quiet except for late night revelers. We would stay again!

Staff were professional and helpful from check in to check out. Thank you to Mark on concierge for attentive service and arranging a taxi. Our room was very welcoming and larger than expected. Attention to detail in all aspects. The hotel in itself is respectful to the history of the buildings with thoughtful attention to individual sections whilst preserving the history and integrity of the individual houses that make up the hotel. Walking through the hotel seamlessly evokes the charm of a bygone era with modern amenities. I look forward to visiting this hotel again in the very near future.

We were met by a really nice man called Mark, who came across the road to get our belongings out of the car. He gave us good advice about parking and made sure our car was safe.
The dinner was really well presented and of good quality, but we were surprised to be told that there was no Bordeaux Superior Wine available. We were disappointed with the Cote de Rhone.
The room was very comfortable and the fridge was very useful to keep the food left over from our day's travel. There was a good selection of hot drinks on the tray.
Mark continued to be very helpful to us, on the Sunday, even after we had checked out and were having refreshments in the bar.
Mark was the main person who made our stay very pleasant. Thank you.

Stayed here for our wedding anniversary celebration. Gorgeous, stylish hotel in a wonderful location of the city, but none of the intrusive noise you might expect. The staff were excellent- friendly, welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble. Our room was wonderfully comfortable and clean and the food - do treat yourself to an afternoon tea or a meal. Definitely worth it. We will be returning!
